This is a very exciting day for Ultra Tune & the independent mechanics of Australia!

The ACCC has released their draft report of its market study into Australia’s new car retailing industry. No longer will consumers be misled into having to go back to the original dealers for repairs, as the exclusivity of parts and technical information will now be available to ALL independent repairers!

These issues have been one of the biggest hurdles in our industry, and our executive chairman Sean Buckley has been dedicated to instigating these changes for many years now. A big thanks to our team who put the ACCC submission together, it has had a major impact towards these very positive shift we are witnessing.

We are finally heading towards a level playing field in this country. The hard work and dedication to this cause is paying off & the future for independents is now a very bright one!

The ACCC said complaints about new car manufacturers and retailers have risen to more than 10,000 over the past two years, highlighting widespread consumer issues in the industry.
