Miss Andretti wins the King’s Stand Stakes 2007
Craig Newitt made racing history in the 2007 King’s Stand Stakes. Supreme sprinter Miss Andretti set a new course record, completing the 1000m in 57.44 seconds, two seconds better than the previous record. The Queen, Prince Philip and Prince Andrew watched Lee Freedman-trained Miss Andretti beat Irish Dandy Man with fellow Australians Magnus placing third and Takeover Target fourth. A proud day for owner Sean Buckley and the team.
